The Canucks are reportedly not talking contract extension with Zadorov yet
The Vancouver Canucks and Nikita Zadorov have yet to start discussions, on extending his contract.
Reportedly Zadorovs representative, Dan Milstein is not in talks with the Canucks.
It seems that both parties had some discussions before the Stanley Cup Playoffs. No agreement was reached and there have been no talks since then.
Zadorov expressed his fondness for Vancouver during his exit interview. Did not provide details on the contract negotiations.
Having scored four goals and four assists in 13 playoff games this season, Zadorov's performance has won over fans with his play and engaging media presence.
As the offseason approaches the Canucks face decisions on who to retain, re-sign and other roster moves. GM Patrik Allvin's nomination for GM of The Year puts pressure on him to make moves, in what promises to be an interestingly busy offseason.
