Things have been heating up on the NHL's trade market as of late, and while the March 7th deadline is still over five weeks away, it appears teams are pushing hard to get deals done now.
Recently, we saw the Vancouver Canucks finally trade J.T. Miller back to the New York Rangers, but according to The Fourth Period, they could be doing business again very soon as they unveiled their latest Trade Watch List article.
In that piece, David Pagnotta linked the Canucks as one of three teams interested in Rangers defenseman K'Andre Miller, as the team clearly still need help on their blue line even after landing Marcus Pettersson in a deal with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Unfortunately for Miller, he's in the midst of arguably his worst season as a professional, posting just 4 goals and 12 points in 48 games after a career high of 43 points in 2022/23, but at 25-years of age, there's still immense potential to be unlocked for the left-shot defenseman.
Alongside Vancouver, Pagnotta also noted that two Pacific Division rivals in Anaheim and San Jose could have interest in Miller, and while the Rangers aren't actively shopping him, he appears to be available if the right offer comes along.
Ultimately though, the Canucks still have a few more weeks to figure things out before they decide how they will proceed moving forward, but if they do believe they are a contending team, don't be shocked to see them being aggressive in trying to land a player like Miller.
