Nikita Zadorov's spouse reveals future in Vancouver with the Canucks
Nikita Zadorov's wife recently shared on social media that they will be leaving Vancouver soon, which came as a disappointment to Canucks fans.
In November 2023 the Calgary Flames made a trade with the Vancouver Canucks sending defenseman Nikita Zadorov to the west.
TRADE! The #Flames have acquired a fifth-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft and a third-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft from Vancouver in exchange for defenceman Nikita Zadorov:
During his time with the Canucks, Zadorov was impressive and stood out as one of their star players in 2024, bringing a significant physical presence to the team.
In an Instagram post, Zadorov's wife hinted at their departure from Vancouver stating "last days in Vancouver", surprising many Canucks fans.
It appears that Zadorov will soon become a free agent and is expected to attract interest from teams willing to pay a premium for his services. In the playoffs he scored four goals and eight points in 13 games. Throughout the season with both the Canucks and Flames he netted six goals and recorded 20 points. Additionally he accumulated 125 penalty minutes due to his playing style.
