The Vancouver Canucks are at the centre of plenty of trade speculation and drama as of late, but the trade of J.T. Miller is just one of many decisions the front office is currently weighing up.
The other would be the situation involving Brock Boeser, as he is set to hit free agency in the summer, and while the team have interest in extending him, if they can't come together on a new deal, it's safe to say that a trade becomes a genuine offer.
We've heard little on this front as of late due to the noise surrounding Miller, but now, a report has revealed that at least one team is emerging as a trade candidate for Vancouver if Boeser and the organization can't agree on an extension.
That team would be the Columbus Blue Jackets, who have the assets and salary cap space to get a deal done, and with the team taking steps forward as of late, Boeser would be a great fit alongside the blend of youth and experience this team has put together.
At this point in time, it's far too early to expect Vancouver and Columbus to start talking the terms of a deal, especially with the team trying to figure out a Miller deal, but if push comes to shove and Vancouver get a good offer from Columbus involving Boeser, don't be surprised to see another key member of this core shipped out this season.
