It seems like just a matter of days if not hours before we see what could be the largest trade of the season.
The Vancouver Canucks are reportedly working feverishly to move JT Miller and now it sounds like things are heating up again.
ESPN reporter Emily Kaplan revealed today that Miller has been having open discussions with the Canucks about a deal, and knows that he will likely be moved before the trade deadline.
She added that the Carolina Hurricanes are in on him as well as the New York Rangers, who have been linked to Miller since the beginning of the rumors.
If it is the Hurricanes, one insider believes he knows who will be in the return for Vancouver.
That being said, fellow insiders Chris Johnston and Pierre LeBrun also discussed the situation surrounding Miller today on Insider Trading, revealing that the New Jersey Devils are also in on the Canucks star center.
NHL scout Cam Robinson reported earlier today that the Canucks and Rangers were back at the negotiating table, indicating that a deal could be finalized tonight.
However, he later added that 'a couple of teams' are still in on the 31-year-old, noting that it remains a fluid situation, and reminding fans that nothing is ever finalized until it is final.
Whatever happens, it certainly appears as though it will happen soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that trade alert as it could come any moment now.
