Hockey is full of unique customs, and the Maple Leafs have a long history of goal song traditions. However, veteran Max Domi has now destroyed one of those.

Hockey fans have been talking about goal songs a lot lately, and for the Maple Leafs, one of the most contentious has been Hall & Oates, who used to play in ScotiaBank Arena whenever the team scored. The team has since altered this in an effort to keep things interesting and novel, and at least one player seemed to like the modification.
Goal songs were the topic of conversation during a recent TSN video, where a number of Maple Leafs players attempted to guess goal horns from different NHL teams. Max Domi responded as follows when asked about Hall & Oates:
"Hall & Oates was terrible the worst. Thank God we switched that one."
Although many Maple Leafs supporters defended the song in the replies, many others agreed with Domi, who called the song "just terrible." It's unclear exactly what Domi had against the song.
It's never easy to choose music that everyone will like, which is why many fans have suggested unique goal songs. However, for the time being, Toronto will continue to use their one song and will stick with what has proven effective.
Domi and many others will be hoping that this is a much better option than Hall & Oates if they want to set the mood, especially considering how many goals the team has scored under Auston Matthews and will probably continue to do so with some extra firepower this off-season.
What do you think of the Hall & Oates goal song? Give us your answer in the poll below!
