The Vancouver Canucks return to action on Wednesday night after defeating the Seattle Kraken 3-1 on Tuesday.

The Vancouver Canucks will play the Calgary Flames in Abbotsford, the home of their American Hockey League affiliate, twenty-four hours after defeating the Seattle Kraken to start the preseason.
The Flames are 3-0-0 with 18 goals for and five against after playing three preseason games already, including two split-squad games on Monday night. The Canucks will face a formidable opponent tonight, and we now know who the team will send to Abbotsford for the contest.
Prior to tonight's game, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 in Calgary has released the rosters for both teams. The six Canucks who competed last night-Christian Wolanin, Jonathan Lekkerimaki, Aatu Raty, Max Sasson, Sammy Blais, and Linus Karlsson-are back in the starting lineup.
Prominent players like Elias Pettersson, Quinn Hughes, and Jake DeBrusk will make their preseason debuts.

Vancouver's full roster for tonight's game:

Goaltenders (2): Jiri Patera, Nikita Tolopilo.

Defencemen (7): Jett Woo, Carson Soucy, Akito Hirose, Quinn Hughes, Noah Juulsen, Vincent Desharnais, Christian Wolanin.

Forwards (12): Arsheep Bains, Jonathan Lekkerimaki, Phillip Di Giuseppe, Elias Pettersson, Kiefer Sherwood, Aatu Raty, Max Sasson, Jake DeBrusk, Sammy Blais, Nathan Smith, Daniel Sprong, Linus Karlsson.
For the Canucks, Jiř Patera will get the start in goal. He will be wearing a Canucks jersey for the first time, and Nikita Tolopilo will be the backup. Rick Tocchet stated that Patera would probably start and play the full 60 minutes, but Tolopilo might play in the third.
The Canucks' top line will now include Jonathan Lekkerimäki in addition to Pettersson and DeBrusk. The rookie made his stage debut at Rogers Arena on Tuesday, and head coach Rick Tocchet is interested in seeing how he handles a back-to-back.
«I think it's important that these guys play in that atmosphere of a back-to-back,» said Tocchet. «They might be a little tired, but you've got to see guys play when they are tired, and you've got to play smart. It's a mental thing too, they might not even be tired. It's important that we get some of those guys [in a] back-to-back.

The Abbotsford Centre game on Wednesday is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. You can meet the players at Gate 1 and try to get an autograph; the bus is expected to arrive between 4:15 and 4:30. The game can be streamed Wednesday on Canucks.com, or have a listen on Sportsnet 650.
