The Pittsburgh Penguins organization has signed top CHL prospect Jack Beck after his rights expired with the Calgary Flames.

Today the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced the signing of three players, including 21-year-old forward Jack Beck.
The Penguins have signed three forwards to AHL contracts: Gabe Klassen, Atley Calvert and Jack Beck.
Beck was originally drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 6th round of the 2021 draft but elected not to sign in Calgary and went to free agency.
Beck was quite productive this past season with the Soo Greyhounds, Kyle Dubas' former team, scoring 27 goals and 85 points in 67 games. He will now look to impress with the Wilkes/Barre-Scranton Penguins in the AHL and hopefully earn an NHL contract with the Penguins one day.
In addition to Beck, the WBS Penguins also signed Gabe Klassen and Altee Calvert.
Kyle Dubas announced 3 AHL contracts earlier this evening.

Gabe Klassen, 20:
- WHL
- C/W
- 67 games
- 35 goals
- 71 assists

Atley Calvert, 20:
- WHL
- C
- 68 games
- 47 goals
- 48 assists

Jack Beck, 21
- OHL
- W
- 67 games
- 27 goals
- 58 assists

The WBS Penguins will now have a wealth of youth and hopefully one of these players can one day make the Pittsburgh Penguins roster.
