A potential trade deal emerges between Kent Hughes and the Carolina Hurricanes, involving Martin Necas and Mike Matheson.
Pierre Lebrun from RDS, mentioned that the Hurricanes are looking for a player in exchange for the young and talented Necas.
He stated that Necas is up for trade and Hughes has reached out to the Carolina Hurricane to discuss a trade. He also revealed the expected terms.
It appears that Carolina is seeking a player in return for Martin Necas making the proposed deal quite plausible.

In my opinion exchanging Matheson for Necas directly should be more than adequate for the Hurricanes. We're talking about a defenseman who scored 62 points while only earning 4.8 million dollars annually.
