Ron MacLean from Hockey Night in Canada disrespects the Oilers and co-host
Last night on Hockey Night in Canada, broadcaster Ron MacLean showed disrespect towards the Oilers and his co-host Kevin Bieksa.
Ron MacLean has a history of being involved in incidents throughout his hockey broadcasting career, many of which occurred during his time working alongside Don Cherry. However, last night he made one of the significant mistakes by tossing an Edmonton Oilers jersey onto the floor.
Throwing a jersey on the floor is a fine Ron
The incident immediately sparked frustration from his co host and former Vancouver Canucks defenseman Kevin Bieksa. When Ron MacLean attempted to place the jersey on the ground, Kevin Bieksa called him out for his action.
Bieksa stopped McLean from putting oilers jersey on the floor. He's the best.
This recent incident adds to a series of missteps in Ron MacLeans career that may eventually be forgotten. Nevertheless it is evident that both former NHL players and fans were offended by Ron MacLean's lack of care and respect towards an NHL jersey.
