Connor McDavid facing criticism for his interactions with Edmonton Oilers fans
The Edmonton Oilers have pulled off a great achievement with Connor McDavid, reaching the Stanley Cup Finals by defeating the Dallas Stars.
As expected the Edmonton Oilers were eager to celebrate their achievement. However when enthusiastic fans encountered Connor McDavid at an Edmonton liquor store for a meet and greet, he seemed super uncomfortable and shrugged them off.
Oh, man... this is so embarrassing.
'Give me a hug, man!'
Are you kidding me!?!?
With the support of fellow superstar Leon Draisaitl and emerging defenseman Evan Bouchard, Connor McDavid's attention is squarely on securing the four remaining victories necessary to lift the Stanley Cup overhead.
Despite being ranked 32nd in the league at one point this season and overcoming challenges with a head coach, both the Edmonton Oilers and Connor McDavid have persevered to reach this point without any distractions.
Nevertheless although fans may have been overly enthusiastic, there could have been interaction from McDavid.
