While the Boston Bruins have struggled on the ice, there's been little suggestion of issues within the locker room, but now, a blockbuster report has revealed the major issues happening.
According to a radio report in Boston, captain Brad Marchand and superstar forward David Pastrnak have had issues for quite some time, and it's become a feud much like Elias Pettersson and J.T. Miller in Vancouver.
However, this appears to be much, much worse, as the locker room has been categorized as a 'disaster', and with Pastrnak not wanting to play on a line with Marchand, the Bruins hand now may be forced.
With Marchand set to be a free agent in the summer, there's been rumblings that a trade could be made, and with Pastrnak the team's only high level contributor, it makes sense to move Marchand if it comes down to one or the other.
However, both Marchand and Pastrnak have turned down any suggestions of truth in this report, noting that it's simply not true and the two love each other and love playing alongside each other.
Ultimately, it appears that there's conflicting stories coming out of Boston, but with the team struggling offensively, a trade to get an upgrade may be the best way forward for the team, but right now they are a major wild card as the March 7 trade deadline approaches.
