Six teams have shown interest in Winnipeg Jets' veteran forward Nikolaj Ehlers as trade rumours gain momentum.

Over the past few weeks, it has been confirmed that Ehlers has attracted significant interest from NHL teams. While he has been involved in trade discussions previously, a report from The Athletic's Murat Ates indicates that these talks have reached a new intensity:
"Ehlers has been shopped before, but never so seriously that talks reached the boiling point. Things could be different this summer."

Ehlers is poised to earn $6,750,000 this season as he enters the final year of his contract, signed in 2017 by Kevin Cheveldayoff, and he reportedly has no interest in signing another contract in Winnipeg.
Despite the 28-year-old forward having a 10-team no-move clause, recent reports confirm that the Jets are receiving inquiries about him, highlighting potential trade destinations.
"According to a well-placed source close to the Jets, Ehlers is not interested in signing a contract extension with the club and that is primarily why Winnipeg GM Kevin Cheveldayoff is exploring his options via the trade market."
Scott Billeck of The Winnipeg Sun recently wrote that potential suitors include the Boston Bruins, Seattle Kraken, Ottawa Senators, Columbus Blue Jackets, Carolina Hurricanes, and New Jersey Devils.
"Boston is one rumored suitor, as are Seattle, Ottawa, Columbus, Carolina, and New Jersey, among others."
