Matthew Tkachuk takes the Stanley Cup on wild ride into the Ocean
Matthew Tkachuk and the Florida Panthers have kicked off their Stanley Cup celebrations, bringing the trophy to various locations, including the Atlantic Ocean.
After their season-saving victory over the Oilers in Game Seven last night, the Florida Panthers have been on a non-stop celebration. This morning, the team started parading the Cup around iconic South Florida spots, including the Elbo Room, a renowned bar in Ft. Lauderdale known for hosting the first-ever livestream over the internet.

The Panthers are living out every hockey player's dream and demonstrating their gratitude to fans by involving them in the celebrations. At one memorable moment, Tkachuk and Bennett poured beer from the Cup off a second-floor balcony directly into the mouth (and face) of a Panthers fan below.

#TimeToHunt After the festivities at the bar, Tkachuk and his teammates crossed the road to the beach, creating an unusual scene where the Panthers forward was waiting for traffic to go by why holding the 35-pound trophy.
Imagine taking a morning drive along the beach and you see Matthew Tkachuk leisurely carrying the STANLEY CUP along the beach?!?!?!? #TimeToHunt #FloridaPanthers
Naturally, their trip to the beach had a singular purpose: Tkachuk was determined to ensure the Stanley Cup touched the cool waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
I mean how can you beat this? Beautiful blue skies, beautiful beaches. And a fucking Stanley Cup Champion hockey team.
