Connor McDavid sends a clear message to his critics as game 3 approaches
Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl find themselves stalled by the Florida Panthers, trailing two games down in the Stanley Cup Finals.
Ahead of game 3, Connor McDavid, the captain of the Edmonton Oilers, has a pointed message for his critics:
"It's another opportunity for our group to come together & dig our way outI'm excited to see what our group is made of."
Edmonton Oilers superstar Leon Draisaitl said this following the Oilers' game two loss, where he potentially put himself in the mix for a suspension due to his actions on Florida Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov.
He acknowledges the need to elevate his game substantially to provide the Edmonton Oilers with a competitive edge in this series.
«We can certainly be better. It starts with me. I certainly have a lot more to give. Not my best tonight.»
The outcome of game three will determine the fate of the Stanley Cup Finals between the Edmonton Oilers and the Florida Panthers. A win for the Panthers could practically seal the championship, while for the Oilers, the stakes have never been higher.
