R.I.P young Roman Zyryanov 🙏
In the 2022-23 season, Zyryanov contributed a goal and four points in two games for Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod's U18 team. Absent in the 2021-22 season, he participated in 34 U16 level games in 2020-21, tallying six goals and 13 points.
Zyryanov had one goal, four points through two games played in his last season with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod U18 in 2022-23.
Zyryanov's passing marks another loss in the Russian hockey community this year, following the tragic death of 14-year-old Ivan Bazhenov. Let's hope this doesn't become a trend, and that we don't lose more young players prematurely. Our hearts go out to Roman's loved ones during this challenging period.
