Richard Bué, a former coach from the AHL affiliate of the Winnipeg Jets, has sadly passed away unexpectedly.

From 2016 to 2022 Bué served as a video coach for the Manitoba Moose in the AHL. Sadly he passed away over the weekend at the age of 44.
The Moose released a statement expressing their condolences to Bué's family, friends and teammates;
"The Manitoba Moose and True North Sports + Entertainment are heartbroken by the passing of former Moose video coach Richard Bue.

Our friend will be dearly missed by all those who had the fortune of knowing him.

Our sincerest condolences go out to Richard's family, friends, and teammates."

Many individuals took to X to express their condolences for Bué. A reporter, who covers both the Jets and the Moose, shared the final text message Bué sent, congratulating the reporter on their 15th anniversary in hockey.
When Richard Bue stepped away from the Moose a few years back to be closer to family in Ottawa, I wrote this:

«Bue is one of the best people I've ever met in hockey.»

Just a great guy.

We continued to chat and his last message to me was a congrats back in Feb.

Will miss him.
