Leevi grew up in the United States, honing his skills in youth hockey with the Texas Brahmas in the NAHL. His hard work paid off, eventually earning him a spot on the NCAA Division III Curry College hockey roster.
After spending two seasons with Curry College, Leevi Selanne turned professional this season by signing with Hokki Kajaani in the Finnish Mestis for the 2023-24 season.
