This afternoon NHL insider Darren Dreger joined the Overdrive show to talk about reports that Chris Drury and the New York Rangers were looking to trade for J.T. Miller.
Over the last several weeks J.T. Miller has been away from the Vancouver Canucks and this has led to a ton of trade speculation involving multiple teams including the New York Rangers.
Despite the trade rumors surrounding Miller and the Vancouver Canucks their GM Jim Rutherford is adamant the team is not interested in trading him away.
With so much speculation building up regarding the future of Miller and what lies ahead for him NHL insider Darren Dreger spoke on the OverDrive Show today to clear some key points up.
During the segment on OverDrive Dreger opened up on several topics involving Miller.
First, he did confirm that the New York Rangers amongst other teams have checked in on Miller and made initial offers to try and pry him away from the Canucks.
In addition to adding context regarding the New York Rangers' interest Dreger also confirmed that the Canucks are just working towards getting Miller healthy and back on the ice.
While this does answer some questions regarding Miller's future it creates plenty more that will likely go unanswered for some time now.
