The Vancouver Canucks had a remarkable 2023-24 season, ending with the third-most wins in franchise history.
Among the standout players were Brock Boeser and J.T. Miller, who both had career-best seasons. Despite a disappointing end to the year, the Canucks will rely heavily on Boeser and Miller for the 2024-25 season.
Sportsnet recently featured Boeser and Miller in a social media post showcasing the top ten American-born goal scorers of the 2023-24 season.
Brock Boeser ranked second on the list with 40 goals last season, trailing only Toronto Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews, who impressively scored 69 goals. J.T. Miller, meanwhile, was tied for fourth among American-born players with 37 goals, alongside Brady Tkachuk of the Ottawa Senators and Frank Vatrano of the Anaheim Ducks.
The Canucks made a strong impression across the NHL last season. While they were initially expected to vie for a wild card spot rather than claim the Pacific Division title, they defied expectations. Going into the next season, however, with their performance from the 2023-24 campaign now well-known, the pressure will be on to meet the high expectations.
