The Vancouver Canucks are seemingly listening to offers on two of their big stars, and now we know exactly what they are looking for in return.

The past few weeks have been a major nightmare for Patrik Allvin, Rick Tocchet and the entire Vancouver Canucks organization, with their hand now seemingly being forced into a major trade given the public feud between Elias Pettersson and J.T. Miller.

While neither player has officially asked for a trade, top NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman has now revealed the asking price that Vancouver are seeking, revealing that they're prioritizing getting a young centre in return and would need a huge package deal to get it done.

"I know Canucks fans right now are concerned about defence with Hughes and [Filip] Hronek injured, but I believe the team is prioritizing a centre in a return more than the blue line, because obviously they'd be trading a centre if one or both was to go.

As part of the package - I would assume it would be a package - back for either of those two players, a centre would be a priority as part of it."

Given the value of both players, this doesn't come as a surprise at all, and while the belief around the league is that one is now moving, Friedman emphasizes that all possible outcomes are still on the table.

"There's really three [options]: Neither gets dealt, one of them gets dealt, or both get dealt. That's on the table. I don't want to predict the likelihood of any particular scenario, but all three of those outcomes are possible."

Ultimately, things are coming to a head in Vancouver, and whether that's a trade of both, neither or just one, something has to change if this team wants to chase a Stanley Cup, and if they do go through with a trade, it appears they'll be getting a solid return.
