Dan Bylsma, the Kraken's newly appointed head coach, issues a strong prediction regarding Shane Wright's future in Seattle.

During a recent interview, Dan Bylsma, the new head coach of the Seattle Kraken, made it clear that he is highly impressed with prospect Shane Wright.
"I think this year served as a great opportunity for him to establish himself as a player,» Byslma said. «Just put his head down, play 72 games, play playoff games, and work on his game and develop as a person and as a player. I think that's clearly evident. It was great to see his progression throughout the year."
Shane Wright was chosen 4th overall in the 2022 NHL Draft, despite being the top pick favorite. Dropping four spots, he has yet to make a significant impact in the NHL, contrary to the expectations of public scouts. However, after a full season in the AHL with the Coachella Valley Firebirds, this year might finally be his chance to break through in the NHL.
