Nicholas Paul, a forward for Tampa Bay, fired a shot at the blueline, and it soared up and hit Holloway under the chin, nearly hitting his Adam's Apple. After receiving brief medical attention, the game was halted to allow Holloway to be carried off on a stretcher.
