Today the Pittsburgh Penguins have made a major trade with the Nashville Predators that will bring a young promising former top 10 pick into the organization.

According to a report from Elliotte Friedman the Pittsburgh Penguins are trading for forward Cody Glass from the Nashville Predators.
Cody Glass is a former top prospect and 6th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Draft. He was the first draft selection in franchise history by the Vegas Golden Knights. After struggling to break through in Vegas he was sent to Nashville.
Since being in Nashville Cody Glass has begun to get his career back on track. In the 2022-23 season in Nashville, he had a career high in goals with 14. Unfortunately, injuries prevented him from following that up last season only playing in 41 games.
At just 25 years old Cody Glass has plenty of time to turn his career around. The Pittsburgh Penguins are greatly lacking young talent on their NHL roster with an upside to breakout. Bringing in Cody Glass could provide that if handled well. If not he remains a solid bottom six option regardless.
Stay tuned for more details regarding the trade!
