The NHL Broadcaster Paul Bissonnette is urging the Pittsburgh Penguins to trade Sidney Crosby after a horrible game last night.

For the first time in Sidney Crosby's career, the Pittsburgh Penguins are in a playoff drought. In the past two years, his team failed to qualify for the playoffs, putting a lot of doubts on Crosby's future with the Pens.
But right before the start of the season, all rumors of him leaving the Penguins ceased, when he signed a two-year, $8.5 million AAV contract in Pittsburgh.
However, the team is once again struggling this season. Crosby and his team are currently seventh in the Metropolitan Division with a 6-9-2 record.
Last night's game against the Dallas Stars showed that there's something wrong in Pittsburgh. Sidney Crosby and the Penguins lost by a whopping 7-1 score.
After the game, a lot of experts were quick to call out Kyle Dubas to trade Crosby.
Notably, the TNT broadcaster, co-host of Spiitin' Chiclets podcast, and former NHLer Palu Bissonnette wrote a big statement on X proposing to send Crosby to the Colorado Avalanche.
Here's what he wrote:
Fans have been dreaming of watching Nathan MacKinnon and Sidney Crosby on the same team for years, and Biznasty believes it could finally happen.
Of course, his declaration should be taken with a grain of salt, but this idea made us think about what could look like a Crosby trade to the Avs if both teams decide to make it happen.
The Avalanche would need to send a lot in return for Crosby. In the following scenario, you'll see that Colorado sends the defenseman Devon Toews and his $7.2 million AAV contract to Pittsburgh alongside two prospects on entry-level contracts: Cal Ritchie and Ivan Ivan, as well as two 2026 draft picks.
Check it out:
"Pittsburgh Penguins receive:

Devon Toews
Cal Ritchie
Ivan Ivan
2026 NHL Draft 1st round pick
2026 NHL Draft 2nd round pick

Colorado Avalanche receive:

Sidney Crosby

Ivan and Ritchie are two of the team's most interesting prospects, and Devon Toews brings a lot to the defensive unit, but considering the impact that Sidney Crosby can have on a team, it's a price that any team would be willing to pay to acquire him.
