Five players of the Pittsburgh Penguins have revealed what jersey numbers they plan to use ahead of next season.
The Penguins made a huge splash at this year's free agency, signing not one, but five new key players that will be joining their team for the upcoming season. It has now been revealed what jersey numbers each of them will be wearing to start the season.
All five guys were key players for their respective clubs last season. Hayes had 29 points for the Blues, Grzelcyk was a +13 for Boston, and Lizotte was a +11 for the Kings. No doubt that both Aho and Beauvillier wished they could have had better years, as they were on the ice for a lot of opponent's goals, but hopefully a fresh start with their new team will do them and the Penguins some good.
Everyone knows Sidney Crosby is running out of time to capture another Stanley Cup, but hopefully with these latest additions the Penguins made, it will help them crawl out of the hole they dug themselves in over the last two seasons, where they failed to make the playoffs. The time is now for Crosby and Pittsburgh.
