Reports say Philadelphia Flyers forward Cam Atkinson declined a trade to the San Jose Sharks, as GM Dan Briere seeks to trim salaries before the off-season.

The Cam Atkinson era in Philadelphia appears to be concluding, following his trade back in 2021 from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for forward Jakob Voracek.
Atkinson, who is under contract for another three years at $5 million per year, has reportedly turned down a trade to the San Jose Sharks in recent weeks, complicating potential moves due to his no-movement clause. If a trade doesn't materialize soon, a buyout could be a possibility for the veteran forward.
The Flyers are trying to trade F Cam Atkinson, and there is interest from the San Jose Sharks. However, Atkinson isn't interested in a trade to SJ. Per, Darren Dreger.
