In his latest "Jersey Watch" video, Chris Smith from Icethetics announced that Anaheim is preparing to debut a new design with vintage elements for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
«The Mighty Ducks logo is coming back, but not quite how you remember it,» said Smith. «It's been fully redrawn with heavier lines shaping the familiar Duck mask, which now bears an intimidating orange eye.»
Although the complete logo remains under wraps, online reactions from hockey fans have been exceedingly positive.
What appears to be happening is a potential return to the club's iconic old Mighty Ducks logo and jerseys, albeit with a refreshed design, slated to debut next season. The NHL, similar to the NFL, typically unveils new logos and uniforms for the upcoming season around or before its annual Draft, scheduled this year for June 28th.
The Ducks' new uniform release date is still unknown, but given their past unveiling of 30th-anniversary jerseys shortly after last year's second overall draft pick, fans anticipate a reveal in the coming weeks.
This anticipation sets the stage for an exciting week ahead!
