The trade talks involving Arber Xhekaj and Martin Necas, between the Carolina Hurricanes and the Montreal Canadiens are causing quite a stir.

As mentioned in recent reports, this potential scenario was brought up by Jean-Charles Lajoie from TVA Sports.
However it's not only Jean Charles Lajoie who is talking about this.
Justin Blades from Eyes On The Prize network has also mentioned this trade possibility sparking reactions all over social media.

The idea of trading Arber Xhekaj for Martin Necas seems to be gaining momentum following Jean Charles Lajoies mention.

In his article titled "The possibility of a Xhekaj for Necas trade," one reaction reads;
"Yeah that'd a huge no from me. We have other assets on D with overlapping skillsets. No one brings the combination Xhekaj does. Having a guy with his toughness/physical game that can play a regular shift and contribute some offensively is such an asset and hard to find."

Some other subscribers hold the belief that Xhekaj is a defenseman in the American Hockey League, but frankly, it's not worth debating with them.
What are your thoughts on this trade possibility? Would you be willing to part ways with Arber Xhekaj to bring in Martin Necas?
Based on the feedback received from Habs Fanatics Poll, it seems that 66.3% of supporters are not willing to swap Arber Xhekaj and a round pick in 2024 for Necas.
