Cedrick Guindon, a highly touted prospect for the Montreal Canadiens, has been traded from the Owen Sound Attack to the Kingston Frontenacs in the OHL.
Guindon, drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the fourth round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, has spent the past three seasons with the Owen Sound Attack. Over 204 games, he has amassed 78 goals and 107 assists. His consistency was notable, as he didn't miss a game during his tenure with Owen Sound.
In this trade, the Attack will be acquiring several draft picks but will not be receiving any roster players in return. Although Guindon has yet to make his NHL debut, he is expected to bring his best to Canadiens training camp this season, aiming to secure a spot with the team. If that doesn't pan out, the Kingston Frontenacs will benefit from his presence in the upcoming OHL season.
