On Monday, the Montreal Canadiens have announced that seven players are headed to the Habs' AHL affiliate, including Joshua Roy and Logan Mailloux.

Logan Mailloux, Joshua Roy, Adam Engström, Jakub Dobes, Lucas Condotta, Brandon Gignac, and William Trudeau were loaned to the Laval Rocket of the AHL, the Canadiens.

Earlier today, Joshua Roy was noticed to be missing from the official Montreal Canadiens roster that was posted on the NHL media site earlier today.

«We'll see what happens, but the list of Canadiens on the NHL media site no longer includes Joshua Roy.»

«Oliver Kapanen, Emil Heineman, and Alex Barré-Boulet are among the 23 players on the Canadiens' roster on the official site right now.»

The seven players will report to the Rocket for their first training camp day. The camp concludes on Monday with a media day at Place Bell.

Roy, 21, made four appearances in the preseason and contributed two assists.
Last season, the six-foot center played in 23 games for the Canadiens, scoring four goals and dishing out nine points.

The 21-year-old Mailloux had four preseason appearances and a plus-6 rating while recording an assist. The 6-foot-3 defenseman played in 72 games with the Rocket last season, scoring 47 points and 14 goals.

While Emil Heineman and Kapanen excelled in training and were added to the roster, Joshua Roy faltered and fell. Even though they might not wear uniforms for every game, they are still staying with the Canadiens while he isn't.
