The Edmonton Oilers have lodged a complaint, on behalf of Evander Kane
After the Oilers objected on Evander Kane's behalf, the Green Men were banned from Rogers Arena for the rest of the playoffs.
When The Green Men are there, one of the most enjoyable aspects of Vancouver Canucks games is their presence. With their amusing posters and actions challenging rival players in the penalty box, they never fail to make spectators chuckle.
They were, however, barred from entering Rogers Arena following their antics criticizing Evander Kane's history of gambling.
@DhaliwalSports: The Oilers complained about @TheGreenMen's Evander Kane poster
#Canucks - apparently the Oilers complained to the NHL about @TheGreenMen and the poster about Evander Kane. They wouldn't have been allowed back to Rogers Arena during round 2!!
This is the poster that Evander Kane was being taunted with by The Green Men.
EVANDER... WHAT'S THE PARLAY TONIGHT?
Although he has a history of gambling, Kane has never wagered on NHL games. Kane and the Oilers ultimately emerged victorious, eliminating The Green Men from the team for the remainder of the season with a seven-game victory over the Vancouver Canucks.
