Brock Boeser couldn't play in game seven of the Vancouver Canucks Stanley Cup playoffs, in the round due, to a blood clotting issue that arose during game one.
After being defeated by the Edmonton Oilers in the playoffs second round the Vancouver Canucks held their exit interviews today. Thankfully Brock Boesers issue with blood clotting wasn't life threatening. It did cause him to sit out game seven of the series.
Boeser disclosed the exact time the problem arose:

Boeser also talked about his feelings on the morning of game seven, when he knew he would be unable to support his teammates.
"It was an emotional morning for me."

Boeser was one of the Canucks' best players in the playoffs before to getting injured, tallying 12 points and seven goals in 12 games. Despite missing the last game, he managed to finish with the team lead in goals and points.
Boeser's current goal is to recover fully in time for the 2024�25 season, when he hopes to build on his recent stellar career year.
