Don Sweeney, the Boston Bruins general manager has confirmed a rumour, about Brad Marchand.

At the news conference held by the Boston Bruins today at 1pm to mark the end of the season, Don Sweeney confirmed a rumour concerning Brad Marchand.
What will happen to Brad Marchand and have the Bruins considered dealing him was the rumour that was circulating around.
Brad Marchand himself has expressed his commitment, to playing for the Boston Bruins for his career.
Don Sweeney revealed during the press briefing today that Brad Marchand will continue to be a member of the Boston Bruins, for the future stating that he has no intentions of departing.

Throughout his time as a professional hockey player, Brad Marchand has been a key player for the Boston Bruins, playing a part in their successful Stanley Cup win in 2011.
Following Patrice Bergeron's retirement, Marchand stepped up to lead the team as captain for the current season. It appears probable that Marchand will remain at the helm of the Bruins until he chooses to retire from the sport professionally.
