Trevor Zegras was a hot name on the trade market before his recent injury, with the latest update in November linking him to a possible trade with the Calgary Flames, who are looking for a young star down the middle.
Even before then, there were many teams interested, and in their latest trade watch list, The Fourth Period have linked Zegras to five teams who could potentially land the 23-year old ahead of the 2025 trade deadline.
According to the report, the 23-year old has interest from the New York Rangers, Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Blackhawks and Buffalo Sabres among others, with the future still too bright to give up on him now.
In Anaheim, he's been passed over by the likes of Mason MacTavish, Troy Terry, Cutter Gauthier and Leo Carlsson, all of whom make up the core future of the Ducks, and with Zegras having one year left on his deal after this one, it's safe to say that they could get a solid return for him.
Bursting onto the scene, Zegras scored a career high of 65 points back in 2022, and while he has just 28 over the past two seasons, if he can land in the right spot, there's still plenty of time for him to turn his career around and become the star that so many expected.
