Two Calgary Flames Players Expected to Generate Heavy Trade Interest, Per Pagnotta

It seems that the Calgary Flames are involved in trade rumors year after year. Many NHL teams are looking to add players to their lineup before the playoffs, and the Flames made a few of them happy last season by trading key players such as Chris Tanev, Noah Hanifin, Elias Lindholm, and Nikita Zadorov.

A year later, it looks like the team is in a similar situation. The Calgary Flames are once again involved in many hockey trade rumors discussed by NHL experts. Indeed, an insider revealed two of their players are expected to generate a lot of interest in the market.

The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta stated that Rasmus Andersson and Andrei Kuzmenko could both be targeted by contending teams before the trade deadline.

At this time of the year, there are often a lot of NHL trade rumors, and everything must be considered with a grain of salt. However, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Flames looking to offload players at the deadline, especially if they aren't in the playoff landscape.
