The St. Louis Blues organization has officially acquired forwards Mathieu Joseph and Radek Faksa in trades with the Ottawa Senators and the Dallas Stars.

The Blues completed two trades, acquiring Mathieu Joseph from the Ottawa Senators and Radek Faksa from the Dallas Stars.

Joseph, aged 27, tallied 35 points across 72 games last season in Ottawa. The Senators had to include a draft pick in the deal to offload his $2.95 million average annual value (AAV) contract, which has two years remaining.

Faksa, aged 30 and playing as a fourth-line center, recorded 19 points in 74 games last season. Additionally, he contributed one point in eight playoff games during the Stars' journey to the Western Conference Finals. He was acquired in exchange for future considerations.
