David Savard carries valuable experience to any team he's playing on. The 34-year-old won a Stanley Cup with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2021, playing in 20 of the team's postseason games in the process.
31-year-old Joel Armia is another depth player lacking in the offense department. He can play as a defensive forward who can eat up penalty-killing minutes, but Joel Armia is far from unique in either of those areas in the NHL.
Look for any or all three of these players to be dealt by General Manager Kent Hughes at any time. The Montreal Canadiens are still in a spot where future assets are sorely needed, and David Savard, Joel Armia, and Christian Dvorak can land them.
