Upon news of their delayed journey to Edmonton, NHL Insider Emily Kaplan revealed crucial details about the Florida Panthers' late arrival for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals against the Oilers.

The Panthers have been swiftly dispatching the Edmonton Oilers in the Stanley Cup Finals, led by an almost unbeatable performance from Florida's goaltender, Sergei Bobrovsky, propelling them to a 2-0 series lead.
"The @FlaPanthers are up 2-0 in the Stanley Cup Final.

Despite their initial triumphs, the Florida Panthers still face challenges heading into Game 3. NHL Insider Emily Kaplan has disclosed significant weather-related delays encountered by the Panthers before departing for Edmonton. Consequently, they will have considerably less time to rest in the city compared to the home team.
"Hearing the Panthers plane just took off after several delays in South Florida. They won't get into Edmonton until Wednesday night.

Thursday has an early puck drop, 6:20 MT.

The Oilers flew Tuesday and will get two full nights at home ahead of Game 3."
Arriving late in Edmonton for an away game poses its own challenges. Moreover, this Stanley Cup Final witnesses the largest distance between the two teams, with a journey spanning over 2,500 miles. Consequently, the Panthers will likely still be battling jetlag by the time they take to the ice.
"This year's Stanley Cup final between the Oilers and Panthers will be the furthest between two cities in NHL history, per ESPN Stats and Information.

It's a distance of 2,541 miles."
Despite facing various obstacles, the Panthers may encounter more than just a rough patch in tomorrow night's Stanley Cup Finals clash against the Edmonton Oilers. Nonetheless, if their performance mirrors the last two games, Florida's delay could amount to little more than a minor inconvenience.
