This season hasn't gone the way those in Vancouver would have hoped, and while star forward J.T. Miller appears committed to Vancouver, the team may not feel the same way.
We saw trade speculation surrounding him earlier in the season, and now reporter Nick Kypreos has suggested that a change involving Miller and this roster could be on the way.
That's not all however, as Paul Bissonnette of Spittin' Chiclets has noted that the New York Rangers desperately want their star centre from years ago back, and it could lead to a big deal happening.
At this point in time, Vancouver have seemingly been unwilling to deal Miller, but with the saga involving Elias Pettersson continuing to drag on, it's only a matter of time until one or the other are dealt.
Miller may be more of a leader in the locker room, but Pettersson has the higher ceiling of the two, with Canucks fans split on who should be the piece moved out in a huge deal.
Ultimately though, Elliotte Friedman recently reported that the team would rather keep both players if that's a possibility, so if they both get back on the ice and start clicking again soon, don't be surprised to see that happen, but if a deal does come to fruition, it's going to be an absolute blockbuster of a deal.
