In game two of the Stanley Cup Finals, the pressure mounts for the Edmonton Oilers, who are in dire need of a victory.

Adding to the tension, footage has surfaced highlighting the Florida Panthers' first goal, stirring up further drama.

Mikkola almost scores on Bob... then beats Skinner.

Fun, wild sequence. 😂

After slowing it down, however, some fans have pointed out a crucial moment in the game-tying goal, with the official directly blocking Edmonton's Connor Brown as he tried to get back into the play.

Anybody else see the ref stop Connor Brown before that goal????

While it's unlikely that NHL officials would purposefully obstruct a player, considering his unfortunate placement, it's evident that he inadvertently hindered the play for Edmonton.

This likely won't be addressed by the NHL, but if the Oilers go on to lose this game and fall 0-2 in the series, it will definitely be a talking point moving forward.

Given how important every moment and every inch is on the ice, this was definitely a poor moment for the officials, however, and may directly affect the result of this entire series.
