New additions to Canada's management team revealed for 4 Nations Face-Off
Hockey Canada has unveiled key additions to its management team for the 4 Nations Face-Off, set to take place from February 12-20 in Montréal, Québec, and Boston, Massachusetts.
Two seasoned NHL general managers, Julien BriseBois and Kyle Dubas, are set to play pivotal roles in both the tournament and
Canada's Men's Olympic Team.
In a strategic move, Hockey Canada has appointed Julien BriseBois, a two-time Stanley Cup champion, as assistant general manager for the 4 Nations Face-Off. Kyle Dubas, who previously served as associate GM at the 2024 IIHF World Championship, will take on the role of director of player personnel. They join general manager Don Sweeney and associate GM Jim Nill, both of whom have impressive NHL backgrounds.

Julien BriseBois Brings Winning Experience to Team
BriseBois, the general manager and vice-president of hockey operations with the Tampa Bay Lightning from 2018 to 2024, is known for guiding the team to consecutive Stanley Cup victories in 2020 and 2021. His extensive background includes stints as assistant GM with Tampa Bay, general manager of the Syracuse Crunch and Norfolk Admirals, and roles with the Montréal Canadiens.
Kyle Dubas Adds Leadership and Fresh Perspective
Kyle Dubas, now in his second season as the general manager and president of hockey operations for the Pittsburgh Penguins, previously held the general manager role with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He is recognized for his innovative approach and success with the Toronto Marlies in the AHL, leading them to their first Calder Cup championship in 2018.

Tournament Details and Roster Announcements
Canada will kick off the 4 Nations Face-Off against Sweden on February 12, 2025, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT at the Bell Centre in Montréal. Additional matches include games against the United States on February 15 and Finland on February 17, with the championship game scheduled for February 20 in Boston.
The complete roster for the 4 Nations Face-Off will be revealed between November 29 and December 2, with announcements about assistant coaches and support staff to come shortly thereafter.
