The hockey community mourns the loss of Tony Voce, a former Philadelphia Flyers prospect, who passed away at the age of 43.

The 'Missin Curfew' podcast announced the tragic news on Monday. Voce also had a stint with the Philadelphia Phantoms in the AHL. He was just 43 years old.
"Sad to learn that Tony Voce, former Philadelphia Phantom and Boston College player has passed away at age 43

Voce was born in Philly and was a friend of @larryfknflowers

Rest in Peace Tony 🙏🏻"
Tony Voce, born in Philadelphia, excelled at Boston College in the NCAA, accumulating 167 points in 159 career games over four years. In 2004, he signed a professional contract with the Flyers as an undrafted free agent.
Despite his promise, Voce never found success in the NHL, spending his entire career in the minors. He won the Calder Cup in 2005 and subsequently played for teams in Finland, Austria, and Germany. In 2009, he returned to North America to play with the Ontario Reign in the ECHL before retiring.
Rest In Peace Tony Voce 🙏 He was a great teammate and an even better person. Sending love and prayers to his family.
