The Vegas Golden Knights are off to a solid start this season, and on Frozen Frenzy night, they've made a bold choice in net against the Los Angeles Kings.

The NHL's Frozen Frenzy is hoping to capture the attention of the sports world on Tuesday night, and with so many good games on, there's something for casual fans and hardcore followers alike to watch. There has been criticism over the way the event was scheduled by Gary Bettman, but the excitement still remains, with one of the night's headline games being a Pacific Division showdown between the Vegas Golden Knights and Los Angeles Kings.
After a 3-0-0 start to the season, the Golden Knights have now gone 0-2-1 in their last three games, allowing four goals in each of them, with Bruce Cassidy revealing the surprise reason he played Adin Hill in their losses to both Washington and Tampa Bay.
Now, after the team dropped another game 4-3 against the Florida Panthers, the team return home with a chance to turn the momentum, and now, Cassidy has revealed that Ilya Samsonov will be the starter in net for the second straight game.
This comes just a week after Samsonov picked up his first victory in Vegas, after which the Golden Knights goaltender couldn't help but taking a shot at his former team. In two games this season, Samsonov has thrived with a .931 save percentage and a 2.41 GAA, and if these performances keep up, he may force Cassidy and the coaching staff to play him some more games.
For now though, he's hoping to bounce back from a road loss to the Florida Panthers, and with so many eyes expected on every game in the Frozen Frenzy, the pressure is on him to stop a three-game losing skid.
