During this summer the Vancouver Canucks have a few players who are approaching unrestricted or restricted free agents, including Jett Woo.

Woo has been playing in the American Hockey League for four years now and as he faces restricted agency he must be contemplating his future with the Canucks.
Jett Woo was drafted by the Canucks in 2018 in the second round, 37th overall pick. Despite making progress in his development over years, he hasn't had a chance to play at the NHL level for them yet which might be disappointing for him.
Recently Woo shared a post on social media that sparked speculation about his future with the Vancouver Canucks.
On Instagram he uploaded a photo from a game in Abbotsford this season along with a caption expressing gratitude for lasting friendships and memories made there.
"Friendships made for a lifetime, thanks for the memories abby! #proudlyabbotsford". Understandably, as mentioned above, this caused some confusion on whether or not he'd be back next season.

"This post on IG from Jett Woo sounds like his time with the @abbycanucks may be over.

He had a good season but got badly injured at the worst possible time and missed the AHL playoffs.

Also probably missed out on a shot with Vancouver's playoff run. #canucks"
This post understandably led to uncertainty among fans, about whether he will return season. It seems that Woo may have noticed the buzz his post created on media as a fan pointed out that he altered the caption to say
"thanks for another great year of memories!".
With the change in his caption Woos future with the Canucks organization is uncertain at this point. It's clear that the Canucks are interested in keeping him and will likely extend a qualifying offer during the draft. However, Woo aims to make it to the NHL after proving himself in the AHL. If there's no opportunity for a roster spot with Vancouver, it will be intriguing to see how things unfold If trade discussions come into play between both parties.
From Winnipeg, Manitoba, Woo played 62 games this season for Abbotsford Canucks in the American Hockey League, tallying 31 points (seven goals, 24 assists) and 93 penalty minutes.
Do you reckon Jett Woo will secure a spot, on Vancouvers roster season? Share your thoughts in the poll below!
