When the Vancouver Canucks' comeback attempt against the Carolina Hurricanes failed, JT Miller let out a lot of frustration in a moment that was shockingly captured on the arena hot mic.

The NHL's Monday night schedule was packed with drama and excitement, but the Carolina Hurricanes vs. Vancouver Canucks matchup was the one that offered everything an NHL fan could want. Carolina prevailed on yet another overtime winner from star forward Sebastian Aho, but the Canucks managed to salvage one point by forcing this one into overtime with a late equalizer in the third period, despite falling behind by one goal multiple times during the game.
Nevertheless, a video that was uploaded to Reddit has shown an even more fascinating moment from the game: star forward JT Miller was captured on camera yelling in frustration, losing his cool earlier in the game by a hot mic in the arena.
It's unclear why exactly Miller was venting his frustration at this point in the game-the team was behind 2-1-but in a fiercely emotional match, it seems like the seasoned forward just needed to let it all out. With four goals and nine points from the team's first eight games, the 31-year-old is off to yet another fantastic start individually this season. However, Vancouver is furious after a number of close losses this year.
This is a fantastic demonstration of the intensity and passion that these players have for the game, and Miller just needed to let it out during a high-octane event. After this, it's likely that the arena hot mic will be turned down a little during Canucks games.
