Toronto Maple Leafs legend, Mats Sundin is set to release his highly anticipated memoir, Home and Away, in October 2024.

Sundin, a former captain of the Maple Leafs, holds the franchise records for both goals and points, cementing his legacy in team history.
As the franchise's all-time leader in goals (420) and points (987), Sundin is revered as one of the greatest players to ever wear the blue and white jersey. His signature backhand shot, humility, and infectious smile made him a beloved figure across Canada.
Sundin's contributions to the sport over his 18-year career are undeniable, with 564 goals and 785 assists, accumulating a remarkable 1,349 points-good for 30th on the NHL's all-time points list, ahead of legends such as Jean Beliveau, Jarome Iginla, and Larry Murphy.
Now, the hockey icon is taking on a new challenge by stepping into the literary world with his upcoming memoir. Sundin's book, Home and Away, will reflect on his journey in hockey, his love for Toronto, and the experiences that shaped him both on and off the ice.
Sundin has planned a book tour across Ontario to coincide with the release of his memoir. The tour will kick off on October 21st at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, a fitting start for a player who was inducted into the Hall in 2012. From there, Sundin will make stops in Toronto, Orangeville, Barrie, Oshawa, Peterborough, North Bay, and conclude in Sudbury.
«Told with class and humour, Home and Away transcends the rink, and reveals how a humble, unpretentious kid from Sweden became a hockey legend and leader,» the event's description reads.

This tour offers fans a unique opportunity to engage with the Maple Leafs legend on a personal level. Those attending the events will not only get a personalized copy of the book but will also be treated to a sit-down seminar with Sundin himself, offering insights into his storied career.
