During training camp, Leafs William Nylander met the media for the first time and didn't hold back when talking about some dubious choices made by Sheldon Keefe.

The Maple Leafs' training camp kicked off on Thursday, signaling the long-awaited return of hockey to Toronto. Fans in the city, along with their team, are anticipating a long spring of playoffs in which they hope to win the Stanley Cup, so expectations are high.
New coach Craig Berube seems determined to move William Nylander to center, and when questioned about the situation, the top player for the Maple Leafs said some thought-provoking things to the media.
«I'm excited. I think that I told Chief (Berube) that the most important thing is, like, you can't play just one game if you want to try center. So, we agree on that. Give it a go, and hopefully it goes well"
During his interview with reporters on Thursday, Nylander hinted at his potential move to center and joked lightly about his former coach, Sheldon Keefe, who is currently managing the New Jersey Devils.
This will be one of the most important stories to follow in the Maple Leafs camp because, at this point, it's safe to say that Nylander, Berube, and the rest of the team are confident about the move and intend to stick with it after moving on from Sheldon Keefe.
The Maple Leafs kick off their 2024 season on October 9th, facing their longtime rivals, the Montreal Canadiens.
