The Pittsburgh Penguins announce their preseason home opener roster for their second game against the Detroit Red Wings.

Due to travel concerns, the Penguins' preseason game in Detroit was originally scheduled for Saturday; however, it was moved to Monday. This time, the team made it safely and won 5-1 before returning home to Pittsburgh.
Tonight, the Penguins host it's preseason home game at PPG Paints Arena, featuring it's inaugural Pucks and Paws night.
The game will feature dog-themed entertainment all night long, such as dog-themed music and videos featuring Penguins players and their pets. Along with this, in honor of Adopt a Shelter Dog Month and the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh, Penguins players will accompany adoptable dogs to the locker room before the game. A military veteran and service dog will also be honored during the game.
Last but not least, Aramark is offering $1 hot dogs to all fans at specific stands during the game to help celebrate this occasion. Each transaction is limited to four hot dogs per person.
Here is the roster for tonight's game:

Official lineups for tonight's game haven't been released yet, but here is how the team lined up for the morning skate.
Although he was supposed to play the entire game yesterday against Detroit, Alex Nedeljkovic left the game with less than eight minutes remaining in the first period after suffering an injury while trying to make a save.
"Ned's being evaluated for a lower-body injury, and that's all I have for you at this point,» Head Coach Mike Sullivan said. «Our medical team will look at him tomorrow, and then we'll have more definitive answers."

Goaltender Tristan Jarry is expected to play the entire game tonight as per coach Mike Sullivan.
SportsNet Pittsburgh will broadcast the game locally, with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 PM ET. 105.9 "The X," the Penguins' official flagship radio station, is another place where fans can tune in.
