The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins defeated the Hartford Wolf Pack 2-1 on Saturday at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre thanks to goalie Tristan Jarry.

After goals from rookies Ville Koivunen and Isaac Belliveau, Wilkes-Barre Scranton (6-2-0-0) won for the third time in a row thanks to a powerful effort from Tristan Jarry in goal.
Tristan Jarry, the goalie for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, made 30 saves on 31 shots. With some outstanding saves, he stopped the Wolf Pack from mounting a late charge and comeback, earning him one of the Stars of the game.
At the moment, he is going through what head coach Mike Sullivan has been calling a "program" to help him get back to his best. Penguins President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Kyle Dubas told reporters that Jarry will return to Pittsburgh feeling strong and in good form and that he is expected to play every game for WBS over a 14-day period (five games total).
On the other hand in the NHL, the Pittsburgh Penguins have shown much improvement in both of their recent games. Sidney Crosby has found his hot hand, along with goalie for both of the Penguins' recent wins, Alex Nedeljkovic, making some significant saves and is looking sharper than ever between the pipes. If the Penguins can find their rhythm perhaps they can bounce back in the league and shoot for a playoff spot.
On Wednesday, November 6, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will host the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The Penguins vs. Phantoms puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m. at Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza. You can watch Tristan Jarry in action as he tries to keep his winning streak alive.
